Kerrie Foley-Koch, CVPM
Hospital Manager
Kerrie Foley-Koch has been the hospital manager at VSES since 2005. She is proud to be part of a team that is devoted to providing the best possible care to pets and their owners.
Kerrie’s formal education is in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies. She earned the Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) designation in 2011. Kerrie spent 10 years in business and human resource management prior to joining the veterinary industry in 2005.
Kerrie's four-legged family members include her cat Presley; Gracie, a yellow Lab; and Daisy, a chocolate Lab. She has been a member of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association and the Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Practice Association since 2006. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
Jen Bidwell, LVT
Medical Staff Manager
Medical staff manager Jennifer Bidwell has been working in the animal care field since 2002. Also a licensed veterinary technician, Jennifer's been part of our valued staff since 2007.
Jennifer feels that the quality of medicine pets receive at VSES is exceptional, and she is happy to be part of a team that is so very dedicated to animals' health and well-being as well as the support and education of their owners.
In her free time, Jennifer likes to exercise and walk her Pitbull mixes Moses and Hudson. She also has three cats named Asia, LuLu and Tripod.
Jen Gargan, LVT
Medical Staff Supervisor
Licensed in New York State, Jennifer Gargan is challenged by the different cases she is able to see as an emergency services technician. She loves being able to help pets get the urgent care that they need. Jen has been a veterinary technician since 2002, and has been with VSES since 2008.
Jennifer shares her home with three Pit Bill mixes named Riley, Saphyra and Austin. She also cared for four cats. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys scrapbooking, sewing, reading and playing with and training her dogs.
Evelyn Schug, LVT
Medical Staff Supervisor
Evelyn Schug has been working in the animal care industry for over 10 years. A full time member of our staff since 2004, she is a licensed veterinary technician and is fond of the fast-paced environment at VSES. She enjoys meeting pets and their owners and is proud to be able to make a difference in their lives.
Evelyn's four-legged companions include Boadi, a female Staffordshire Terrier mix, and Mouse, a female Corgi mix. When she is not helping to care for animals at VSES, Evelyn enjoys gardening, listening to music, spending time with her dogs and traveling as much as she can.
Samuel D. Estes, LVT
Medical Staff Team Leader
Having grown up on a farm, LVT Team Leader Samuel D. Estes has spent his entire life caring for animals. He joined Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Service in May of 2008 and since that time has been an invaluable member of our emergency and critical care team. “I enjoy working for the emergency service I like the one-on-one care I can provide critical patients and knowing I am doing all I can to make the patient healthy again,” he says.
In addition to his many years of experience, Samuel has an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Alfred State College. He also has a menagerie of pets that includes two cats named Gizmo and Fluffy, Bearded Dragon named Norburt, and two Texas Longhorn Ox named Rob and Rie. Samuel’s interests include playing soccer, running, working on his model train layout and working outside on his family’s farm.
Elizabeth Kirchner, LVT
Medical Staff Team Leader
Elizabeth Kirchner has been a valued member of the VSES staff since 2004. She holds an associate's of applied science in veterinary science technology as well as a bachelor's of business administration in veterinary hospital management, and she is licensed as a veterinary technician in the state of New York.
Elizabeth, who has worked with Monroe Veterinary Associates since she was 16, has always been interested in emergency medicine. A member of the New York State Association of Veterinary Technicians, she loves training her young Boxer / Pit Bull mix Yoshi and also has a long haired beige tabby named Tater. She likes to spend her free time outdoors and enjoys hiking and going to the beach. Her hobbies include reading, photography and scrapbooking.
Anna Adams
Client Service Supervisor
Anna joined VSES in September 2009 and is currently a client service representative (CSR) supervisor at our hospital. Although she does not have any pets at this time, she enjoys working with a facility that is so dedicated to pets and their families.
Every day I see something new, and it shows what an exceptional place VSES is to be a part of, Anna said. I have always had a passion for working with people, and I feel that working at this facility gives me the opportunity to make a difference.
When she's not working, Anna enjoys teaching and playing the piano. She also is involved in musical theater and loves to bake and cook for her family and friends.
Katherine Diegelman
Client Service Supervisor
Katherine Diegelman is a client service supervisor at VSES. While she's worked here since 2007, she has been caring for animals in various positions for over 10 years. She enjoys working with people who have the same passion and love for animals as she does, and she especially likes seeing pets reunite with their families after being treated at the hospital.
Katherine's pastimes include reading, boating and hiking. She also likes to spend time with her family and pets, which include five cats, her Golden Retriever Quincy and her Australian Shepherd mix Darby.
