What Separates us From The Rest?
The extra training and experience that is required to achieve specialist certification ensures that the doctor has the most current knowledge and techniques available. As the only board-certified veterinary surgeons in Rochester, we are able to offer the highest level of surgical care without the need for extensive travel.

As surgery coordinators, Robyn and Stephanie help keep the department running smoothly. They are responsible for estimating, billing, and appointment scheduling. When a surgeon is not available, they are able to assist owners with any concerns or questions they may have. The coordinators participate in admitting and discharging patients; ensuring pet owners are comfortable with process and understand what is necessary when their pet goes home. Between Robyn and Stephanie, a surgery coordinator is available Monday through Saturday 7:00am-6:00pm and Sunday 7:00am-1:00pm.

Your Visit
Initial consultations generally take one hour, but could be longer depending on how many diagnostics need to be performed and the health of the pet at the time of the appointment. Consultations will include a discussion about the pet’s condition, options for further diagnostic tests, and possible treatment plans. All records provided by the referring veterinarian will be reviewed and the final assessment will be sent to the referring veterinarian. If surgery is recommended an estimate for the surgery will be provided. This estimate will cover the follow-up suture removal appointment but does not cover any additional recheck examinations.
