Jennifer L. Bouma, VMD, Diplomate ACVR
Dr. Bouma received her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She then went on to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, MA before returning to Philadephia for a three year residency in radiology at the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Bouma achieved Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Radiology following completion of her residency in 2001. Before entering private practice she stayed on for a year as a lecturer in the section of radiology at Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Bouma has worked in the states of Colorado and Delaware but is happy to return to New York. She grew up in the southern tier, a native of Jamestown, NY. Outside of work, Dr. Bouma enjoys spending time with her pets: a golden retriever named Franklin, a terrier mix named Carlos and two Abyssinians named Lyle and Julio.
