Kent Burgesser, PhD, DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVO

Dr. Burgesser earned his PhD in immunology from the University of Denver in 1989.
He earned his DVM degree from Colorado State University in 1993. Dr. Burgesser completed his residency in veterinary and comparative ophthalmology at Colorado State University in 1998, where he also earned a Masters degree in Clinical Sciences.
He received board certification from the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2000.
Dr. Burgesser was previously a clinical instructor in ophthalmology at the Ontario Veterinary College, and practiced ophthalmology in south Florida before joining Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Services. He is also the hospital director of the facility.
