Joel DeJaynes, DVM, Surgical Intern
Before finishing his undergraduate degree in biology from Iowa State University, Dr. DeJaynes was accepted at Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. He worked as a rotating intern from June 2010 to June 2011 at Animal Hospital Specialty Center in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. His professional interests include both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
He grew up in Burlington, Iowa, and he has a six-year-old Boston terrier named Herbie. During his free time, DeJaynes enjoys any outdoor activities, including running, skiing, and watching sports.
